The Brief

The agency was tasked to ideate a simple campaign to launch the new Tic Tac intense mint flavour in South Africa. With a relatively small budget and placement strategy, placement within the store was the key to delivering an impactful statement.

The Thinking

When you eat a Tic Tac Intense Mint you get a “kick” of cool on your tongue.

In order to showcase just how cool and just how much of a kick you get we created a key visual that shows exactly that.

My Role in the Project

I conceptualised, designed and executed all elements of the campaign. From a placement strategy, I attempted to create an instance where the product seemed semi-out of place and therefore create an impact. This was brought to life by moving the parasite unit from the impulse aisle to the fridge. The thinking was simple, when a consumer is looking for something ice cold, Tic Tac Intense Mint would become part of the association and reduce barriers to trial.
