Writing a book… I know right, for what?
I must have had a mid-life crisis that I am not aware of when I decided to start writing a book. I’m sure you’re thinking, what on earth for? Let me give you some context. I suppose it all started way back in 2018 when I felt that I was not doing enough. So I enrolled in a MsC in Digital Marketing through the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI). I was so excited and really thought that this was going to be a defining moment in my life. I had no idea what I was in for.

Having a BA degree (which my father lovingly refers to as a Bugger All degree) I had never had to write a long-form essay let alone a thesis. I found the studying easier and aced my way through. I have always been very studious and find that I grasp concepts quickly. Writing, on the other hand, was a whole new world for me. I found myself in the uniquely challenging position of having to revise my high school English Comprehension textbooks and refresh my knowledge of split infinitives and conjunction.

Long story short, I wrote my thesis and achieved higher marks than I ever thought possible. I ended up with a distinction and couldn’t have been happier.

the more we can do.”
William Hazlitt
This brings me to the point of my story. I am writing a book, tentatively titled:
THE ADVERTISING GAMES: OPINIONS RULE THE DAY
Because it’s all about my opinion right? Isn’t that what books are for.
